After shadowing some (pre-health sciences) jobs, I discovered they did not excite me. I felt lost and frustrated as I tried to find my way.
CareerCode was very beneficial because it allowed me to find myself in terms of real world job examples. It helped me connect to a career I did not know existed, but was perfect for my skills and interests. I have always been interested in technology, but I tried computer science and it was not for me. After attending a CareerCode workshop, I selected an Information Networking Technology major. This major will allow me to work as a Network Technician or as an Information & Networking Sales Associate where I can talk, teach and influence others.
